A BILL to repeal §28-5A-1, §28-5A-2, §28-5A-3, §28-5A-4 and
§28-5A-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all
relating to the Huttonsville Correctional Center.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
§1. Repeal of article relating to Huttonsville Correctional
Center.
§28-5A-1, §28-5A-2, §28-5A-3, §28-5A-4 and §28-5A-5 of the
Code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, are hereby repealed.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal outdated
provisions of the West Virginia Code relating to the Huttonsville
Correctional Center.
This bill was recommended for introduction and passage
during the 2008 Regular Session of the Legislature by the
Legislative Oversight Committee on Regional Jail and Correctional
Facility Authority.
